While I understand the reasoning and logic (probable necessity) behind this, the privacy advocate within me is squirming.

It worries me too, but it will probably do more good than harm. I don't really care if the government knows how many times a week I go to the grocery store. And if I ever join the Young Communist Witches for Saving The Whales, I will leave my phone at home when I go to meetings.

Plus, it won't take long after it comes out for somebody to hack it.
