Default My Gratitude List

I got to thinking today of all the talented people I know here at home, who are highly skilled in one art form or another.

Which is why I list their talent as Five Good Things in my world:

1) Knowing someone who can repair your shoes

2) Knowing someone who can open a jar when arthritis limits your ability to do it on your own

3) Knowing a good neighbor who can help you thread a needle when your bifocal eyeglasses just can't help you see the eye in the needle

4) Knowing someone who can help you fix your car, when you can't figure out how to fix it on your own

5) Knowing someone who has the time to listen and to help you process your day or the things you have on your mind
