Watching several little kids walk by my house on the way to our newly constructed children's parks (fantastic
green manufactured equipment and safety measures installed!). Mainly, it was the fact that there were Latino, African American, Asian, Turkish, Afghani, Iranian, and Black African families enroute. A couple of white families, too. Hummm... no Native Americans, however. Big smiles and lots of skipping up the sidewalk. Many songs being sung. My dog was a little wiggle machine looking at all the kids! The remodeling of the park was a joint effort of the city and private citizens working together.
