Orema, good for you for standing your ground and being strong against this contractor. No written estimate? I call shenanigans! And if anyone tells me I have to make a deal right then and there, or lose out, it's an automatic deal breaker. I figure if they don't want me to check up on them or compare, there must be a reason.
