I woke up this morning and decided I was going to tackle my Comcast/Infinity problem. The Roku is ok but I am set in my ways and miss my normal TV routine. After about an hour of pure frustration and anger I ended up with associate Scott and he should be cloned. He was extremely personable and I think family, had worked for Comcast for 24 years and was extremely knowledgable. I had my TV back up and running shortly and did not need to replace my TV box. I told him I don't kiss boys but if he were in my living room he would get one!
From there it was off to the stalls to feed and then muck and clean. I thought they would be much worse then they were because they went in early yesterday.
After that I decided the truck needs winter tires so I went to a local tire shop and bought four new winter and studded tires.
On the way home I stopped and bought cracked corn for the horses, a new Carhartt vest for me and 2 bales of shavings.
When I got home I had to figure out water for the horses. The hose line had frozen (I will deal with that later) but their buckets needed filled for tonight.
I ended up loading buckets into the back of my truck, filling them in the truck and then driving down to the barn. Other then having soaking wet coat and pants (in 30 degree weather) by the time I got done, the stall buckets were full and I should be covered for tomorrow night also. As the horses were supposed to be at their new facilities by now, I never bought a new trough and will now have to do this a few more times before I am in the clear.
I stopped on the way to the house and cut a little more wood for tonights fire which is now all aflame and bumping up the room temp about 10 degrees.
