Smiling....finding out my 7 ft corn palm blooming is rare. I asked my good friend Google...( It's an out door palm for me)
Yes, corn plants (Dracaena fragrans), also known as cornstalk dracaena or mass cane, can and do bloom, but it's not a common occurrence, especially indoors. When they do bloom, they produce beautiful, fragrant white or pink flowers on long stalks.
And let me tell you it smells so good. I'm even going to admit better than the jasmine right now. I actually can't believe it's blooming. It's been knocked over so many times from the hurricanes. Smiling, and enjoying it for sure!
