Oddly enough, I'm looking forward to appointment with the oral surgeon pn Wednesday. I don't expect the procedure itself to be any fun; it's an extraction of a cracked molar. I'm going to ask the surgeon how fast she thinks she can do it, and if she says 15 minutes or less, I'm going to do it without anesthesia. I don't want to pay for it, and I would also have to make an appointment to go back on another day and take along someone who would drive me.

I WILL pay for nitrous oxide. Hopefully she can extract the crown and three roots in under 15 minutes and while I'm there on Wednesday. I'm so tired of babying this tooth! It takes me forever to chew small bites only on the other side of my mouth. A couple of nights ago I tried to eat a steak, and I only ate about a fourth of it - and that took an hour along with a small baked potato and a few spoonsful of corn.
