planning next year's garden..because of the times we're living in i think it's necessary for me, so....i'm planning on growing potatoes pumpkins squash & green beans, in the big garden i haven't used for a long time..since my cherry tree was struck with lightening...oh..maybe some rhubarb and garlic too...i may even try a small bed on shallots....but the real issue is weed control..this is a problem i may be able to control with hay in aisles and a grow cover on the soil beneath the plants although that might not work for the potatoes because they will need hilling but for everything else..i'm excited(so far) especially about the pumpkins!
