I don't usually participate in any "so-called serious" threads for a reason. There is no way to have any particular "personal" space on a forum. If you say (for instance) femmes only, it will never be femmes only - and this applies to every category or ID of people. It's sort of like overhearing a conversation in real time and not being able to help yourself from being nosey. "OOH, are they talking about ME???" Then, you have people flinging "privilege" or some other politically incorrect insinuation, and frankly, it's boring already, so I don't do it. It takes away from the original discussion and becomes like every other serious thread that went awry and ran themselves distastefully into the ground.

*deep breath*

That's my rant. I'm hormonal and that's the story I'm sticking to.
