I totally get what you are saying, but I am going to ignore the context of your bulb and focus on what you mean by saying horribly obnoxious color?

so what do you mean by that statement?

are you implying some colors are better than other colors?

are some colors easier on the eyes?

are certain hues of certain colors better than others?

and

now this thread could be totally derailed with people coming to the defense of and standing up for "colors".
