After a few minutes of trying to figure out who in the family looked like her, she was like, it is your Aunt Linda. The picture is from 1920 when she was 16 years old. My dad who raised me from the time I was a 4 months old until his death when I was 28 years old, his family is hard to find, since most of them were born in the mountains of Alabama and Kentucky.

Have fun today!

Good Morning Zimmy,

That is just sweet. I love the old photographs. When My maternal grandparents passed My Mom inherited all of the photos they had. They are really nice to look at. When we see pictures of My Gram when she was young.. we can all see a resemblance to her.. from My Mom right down to Myself and My siblings. I am glad you are learning of your ancestry. I think it is an endeavor we should all take on at some point in our lives. I am sure it is hard to trace family if they lived mostly in a rural area. Keep at it though, I look forward to hearing what else you find.

Peaceful Sunday to you.. and be safe in what you do.

As Always,
Jake
