Talking My word of the day and rant - all in one

Unbelieveable...Someone backed into my sister's car. Somehow this person proceeded to park their car. Go in the restaurant, eat breakfast with his g/f, and claimed that he had no idea that he backed into her car. We finished breakfast, and went outside and were shocked at the damage done to her car. We went inside and talked to the waitress, and called the police. We found the driver of the other vehicle eating like their was nothing wrong. When he came out to see the damage done to my sister's car, both the guy and gal acted as if nothing was wrong. They were some how above the law, and insurance would cover it. My sister's car was moved 3 spaces over.

My sister's car is a '80s Mercedes Benz with few miles on it. This damage will bring the blue book value of the car down. Plus if she sells the car, it will show the police report/accident in the car in the car facts/fax thingy.

The guy claimed that he took 2 blood pressure pills before leaving his apartment, and driving to the restaurant. I was thinking why was he even driving. Oy. Then he tried to have his car towed before the police arrived. Why can't people just be honest? I will never understand that. Never.
