I do love some traditional bagels and cream cheese. I'm going to set out some scrambled eggs (with just a bit of sauteed minced onion) and cheddar cheese in them, some nice slices of fried breakfast ham....and some crispy hashbrowns, of course

I'm dancing around the kitchen this morning (thanks Freyja!)...and trying not to get my hopes up. Seems that the realtor had a bomb of an open house while I was gone (lovely day, no people)...but then showed the house on Monday to a young couple. They came back Tuesday with his mother (a.k.a. "the downpayment") and stayed an hour. Seems they really liked the place. Realtor says they are off to the bank to see what they can get approved for a mortgage...and hopes to have an offer from them soon. With all the back and forth, I don't want to get my hopes up (after 4 months of this...ugh)...but they didn't care about the street...and that's been everyone else's main objection.
