Awaiting further instructions!
i've traded mixtapes/cd's for many years and there are a lot of ways to go about the mix

sometimes the group makes a list of criteria for each song like
1 - a song about sadness
2 - a band with at least 4 words in their name
ect

lots of people will make a general theme mix like
road trip 1997
songs of a broken heart
ect

i've been sent homemade demo tapes from garage bands

and there is also the snapshot of your music collection mix
that's just whatever songs you think everyone should hear
if that's classical and c/w then that's what it should be

to me the whole idea is you don't know what you will get
that's what makes it fun
