I am authentic being me
Let me go first. Mine was at NIH in Bethesda. I'm 46 yo. My sister, Jo, was there participating in a clinical trial. She was taken for a Pet Scan, so I thought I would go get a cup of coffee and maybe an apple or something to eat. Well, let's just be honest, I am directionally challenged. I can't read a map to save my soul. I also have no clue as to what is north, south, east, or west. So, I make it to get the coffee and an apple. I head back upstairs. But somehow I manage to get myself lost. I roam the halls of building 10. The nurses at their stations at various points finally try to help me. It took one nurse to literally walk with me back to Jo's room. Thank God. Then a nurse comes in to take Jo's temperature. And looks strangely at me. She asks me if I have a twin? And how old I am? I smiled, and said my age. She told me she thought I was maybe 18 or 19 yo. I was in my mojo moment. I am young. Really. Even with my few grey hairs.
