Good morning, Florida
It was a long day at Busch Gardens yesterday...we took off about 9:30 yesterday morning and didn't get home until 10:30 last night. Verdict: I like BG much better than Disney. The park was not as crowded, it is absolutely huge, the food (while still overpriced) was not nearly as expensive and there is a ton of stuff to do there. Plus, it is only 40 minutes from my house and I found out an annual pass that includes both Busch Gardens/Adventure Island (and free parking) is only $146...what a deal.
Katie is not able to ride most of the rides yet since she is only 45" tall and the height requirement on most of the major attractions is 48"+. But there were still quite a few rides she could go on and she loves animals, so she had herself a great time. She passed out cold on the way home and there was going to be no getting that child in the shower when we got there, so I threw on her PJs and put her in bed as is. And she is still sound asleep
I wish I could have tried a few of the bigger coasters myself, but it was only the three of us and I wasn't about to stand in line for an hour by myself while Mr. Strutt stayed with Katie...so I will have to wait until we go again with a group or something. There hasn't been a coaster built yet that I won't ride and I am dying to get on ShieKra, which has a 200-ft., 90-degree vertical drop at 70 mph. Oh yeah, baby
Hope you all have a great day!
