I guess I don't know what to do if I saw a bat or had one in my house. I guess I would call the fire dept too because I would be scared to get rid of it!! lol
when i lived in Kentucky there was several bats. we use to throw items up in the air and watch em fly right towards that item to catch it. they have amazing flyin and eyesight skills

Thank-you Jo I am looking after myself and keeping myself medicated. Hopefully this flare-up will not last too long.

My housemate came home yesterday for the first time in weeks. It's been good to see her and catch up on what she's been doing. She builds straw-bale houses so it's always interesting hearing about where she's been and what she's built.
hope ya get feelin better soon.

that would be awesome to hear, from your housemate about buildin straw-bale houses.

Bit of a leisurely Sunday here...the kitties had their usual can of tuna to start off Sunday morning, so there's a lot of purring and face washing going on now. They all share a plate full and are quite polite about it...just 4 little buddies when there's tuna involved!

Lots of bats here Lips, but they're tiny...and wonderful little bug hunters. I actually like to watch them swoop around and catch all the mosquitos and such. They can get rabies, it's true...but you would see them acting strange, like flying around in the daytime if they were. My son loves bats...one evening a couple years ago we were at a friend's house for a BBQ and there were about 50 bats swooping around catching bugs as soon as it got dark. My son...about 10 at the time...went out and stood on top of their woodpile so he was up higher, and standing in the middle of the area where the bats were working. They swooped and flew all around him, coming within inches but never touching him. He was delighted.

I'm with you morningstar...I can deal with snakes, and bats and rodents don't bother me...but spiders (and grasshoppers...heck, bugs in general) creep me out! Not sure I'd wear bat earrings though darkcrystal

I'll be back later....but hoping you all have a good day.
baby...I love you
sounds really cool about the bats flyin all around your son
