Things I have learned not to do in a relationship-

give up friends.

give up support networks.

move across the country to a place I know nothing about to make them happy.

believe that it was my job to make them happy.

give up being happy, in attempt to make any other person happy.

Adopt an animal on a whim to make them happy.

I see a theme here.

And growth! YEAH!!! I dont do these things anymore!!
