I opt for laughter in life and really try not to take myself too seriously (life is too short for that crap).

I think compassion and education are the two salves that will heal the world, if only we'd give them a chance.

I love those posh, expensive, not-enough-food, Michelin starred restaurants...I try to visit a few new ones each year and I always learn something new about food and flavors I'd never imagined. Then I try to recreate them at home (I will be honest and admit my failures slighty outweight my successes )

I'm graceful when I dance, but the rest of the time I'm somewhat clumsy. Walls and I meet too often. Gravity and I disagree frequently. It's when I catch myself apologizing to the wall that I know I'm having a bad day. LOL.

My largest phobia in life is needles. My therapist and I are working very hard at helping me overcome it as it's paralyzed me for my entire life and my health suffers for it. So yeah...needles and Laerkin = tears, but I'm trying to get better.
