the 2 lovely orchids Damon brought home to me for our anniversary-
though not our wedding anniversary, but 4 yrs ago today, we became 'us'.
sometimes life gets in the way... things get tended too less, things get put on the back burner, and sometimes they just unwittingly get taken for granted...
but when something matters to you like this matters to us, you step back, you step up, and you bring it back to good, a little at a time.
like the orchids- that Hy took the time after work at 1am, because Hy knew I would love them...
it's those little things that touch my heart,
and remind me what we're fighting so hard for
