"With prayer and good intentions, we make our lives sacred and come into balance."
--Don Jose Matsua, HUICHOL SIERRA MADRE MEXICO
Only through prayer can we make spiritual changes that are permanent. You have told us that all life is sacred. Today I intend to serve you, my Creator. Allow me to overcome temptation, and if one comes along, let me see the lessons that will give balance. You have told us that all life is sacred. Let me see today with a sacred eye. Let me see beauty in all things.
My Creator, let me know what You would have me be today. Let my intentions be honest, respectful, humble, and loving.
This meditation means so very much too me, a few years back my path on the red road was unclear and I allowed anger to fester. Swearing to follow the path and walk away from anger hasn't been easy. Inside I felt my path crumbling beneath my feet over recent weeks. Yesterday, I faltered allowing that boil to fester. After much meditation, and no sleep my insight is strong this morning. It wasn't until I remembered something I was told at the reunon, "honey my skin is as thick as alligator hide now" that statement repeating over in my mind, I know others can try to hurt you with words but you allow them to have power or not. Today I chose not to allow negative words to hold power over me for they're just words and my hide is tough.
