L OL I remember trying to teach my friend R to walk in heels. She had to wear them for some recital.
Amazing in some ways what we still do to our bodies to appear sexy. Who decided heels were sexy and flats are not? Like most fashion, it is mostly men who design for women. Does this colour our fashion? Do men, who don't wear heels, understand what it does to women's feet, knees, hips and backs? I know but I wear them anyway because they make my legs look amazing but as has been said to me..."as long as your legs are over my shoulders doesn't matter if you are barefoot." So is it my issue? Do I buy and wear them and contribute to the sexism and destruction of women's bodies? Interesting.
PS. heh I still am gonna buy hot shoes as I contemplate the above.
