Talking to Mom and hearing that she had a wonderful birthday with her best friend Miss Pat.
I am beyond happy that she got to celebrate this birthday and had an awesome time!
It was around September two years ago that she was diagnosed with Stage 4 lymphoma and started VERY aggressive chemo (we nearly lost her that winter) I am so tickled that she had an awesome day. She really deserves it!! And she sounded so good on the phone. Sounded happy making plans. She's finally able to look past her days of treatment and make plans for things she enjoys.
