I go by my name, which is Lynn, really and truly. Some people call me Lynnie, which is OK, but not really how I see myself.

Don't call me "dear" or any other sugary endearment unless you mean it. Used as a sarcastic preface to a criticism or reprimand, it will not win you any points.

I started using my own name when I realized how uncomfortable I was, trying to engage with anyone on a hopefully meaningful level, using an alias. Also, I've learned that privacy is an illusion on the internet. The people I try to avoid always find me anyway, so I figure, fuck it.
