For all of those in need, yesterday, today and tommorrow.

and my friend Milana who went into respiratory failure July 15 after a successful routine feeding tube placement. She had just been diagnosed with cancer, and they wanted to treat her throat, so they took her tosurgery put a feeding tube in her belly, then she could not breathe on her own when she came too.

She still remains in a Long Term Acute Care facility with a tracheostomy, oxygen and a feeding tube.. Still not able to begin her radiation or chemotherapy for cancer of the esophagus. Yesterday, With a walker and PT help , she made it all around the 2nd floor. Then she was taken outside in a wheelchair in the afternoon sunshine.

Next week she supposed to be moved to a sub-acute facilty, because of insurance coverage. I will be working out of town all week, not able to visit and do the medical speak translations for her, so am lighting a weeks worth of candles for alllllllll.
