We originally went out to the shelter after I received a phone call from a friend who works there saying, "We have a dog I believe you would be interested in"
No folks, it was not an English Bulldog.
Although, I did see one while shopping in PetsMart and his owner was standing close by... 
but back to the story...
I am now the mommy to a 2 year old, male, blond and white Lhasa Apso.
