The Settle
Before you settle on that saddle
make sure the horse
is agreeable,
or it's gonna be
one horrific ride..
down the middle
of prickly brush and thistles
with their million
little pricks.
So, don't settle
on that saddle,
if the horse is
of that 'perculiar' persuasion
given to mellow
dramatic fits.
