Update:
The doctors are optimistic - at least the surgeon is. The cardiologist and the pulmonogist are being cautious, which I understand.
His heart is still holding strong.
Still on the vent. They were able to do dialysis yesterday. Dialysis is taking so much out of him, but after it he seems to be resting easier.
