Chosen Family.
After a 14-hour work day (which is STILL going), Uncle Terri showed up at the house with so many prezzies that we felt like it was Christmas!!
She had 3 lights for our library, 4 tubes of caulk, speakers for my laptop, 2 barbecue sandwiches, a crime magazine with the pictures of everyone who has recently been arrested, and a partridge in a pear treeeeeee!!!
We happily scarfed down our sandwiches and have been playing with the computer speakers and watching some reruns. Sometimes sitting around on a Monday night with people you love and a big red dog is just what it takes to soothe the (overworked) soul.
