over the weekend i was watching the History channel and learned....the term redneck ACTUALLY was started in 1923 in WV by the coal miners who tied red bandanas around their necks so they could distinguish themselves on their march across the mountain to some town to fight the corporate mining ppl over some mountain top....i didnt pay THAT close attention
