Okay I am smiling now but was not 30 min ago. Today I went to the store and when I got home ate lunch and took a long much needed nap. When I got up I did some chores around the house, messed around on the net, read a little, painted a little then went to the bathroom. While in there I heard a loud meowing sound not unusual here in the house and outside. I wasn't even going to bother to look as the outdoor kitties (not mine) I had already fed before going to the store. Something commanded me to look.

I was so shocked there was my Ashley outside!!!! I rescued her many years ago; she had been declawed by previous owners and was being abused by their then five year old daughter. When she got here she was never allowed outside again. Oh she has slipped out once or twice over the years. But to imagine her outside, defensless, cold and scared was too much. She is laying here in bed with me still trying to recuperate from her five hour adventure!!! So I am smiling that she is ok!!!!
