Glad to read that you and the Rooster had fun today! Tell Scoote happy birthday from me in case I don't get a chance to stop by tomorrow and thanks!!! Does Scoote still have strep throat? Hope she gets to feeling better and soon!

An interesting twist...the last Civil War reenactment I went to was in NY state...and suffice to say that the FL version had a different perspective. They did a really good job...very educational and the kids (and I) learned a lot.
Think we're all tired from a long week though...came home with the Rooster and discovered that the Prince had fallen asleep. Feel like I could doze off myself, but I'll sit up and wait for my sweetie to get home. She's not feeling good at all, and Friday is always a long day for her. Tomorrow's her birthday (make sure you stop in on her birthday thread )....and I'm not sure what we're doing yet...other than me baking a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting.  |
