Don't get me wrong, I like your suggestion.... I also think I would order it in a different color? It's not so much the blocking out of Sun, or hiding from the stars...
At least, for me, it would be against any Random Hiking Peeping Tom, or Pervie Hermit I have no clue about....
That and one never knows if there's some cat burgler on the Prowl based on word-of-mouth.

Personally, I would thatch the Deck roof with palm leaves, add a hammock, swing under the stars....
The added plants would attract various species of Birds{and bugs}...just...find hardy plants that don't overwhelm the simplicity of such an awesome refuge?

Oooh...private Hot Tub ....watching the sunset ...yum
