I have so much to smile about today... It almost brings tears to my eyes, I havent been so happy in a long time...

Last night, I received a call very late from my adopted dad's sister. She lives several hours a way. She wants me to know that she and the rest of the family miss me and want me to still be a part of the family. And wished I would have been able to come up today for Christmas... I told her we can all plan on next year

I also reconnected with her daughter with whom we were very close growing up.. She has moved around the Dallas/Fort Worth area with her husband and baby.

So the best gift of all today is the gift of having family back.. Not my adopted parents but the rest of the family.. Brings happy tears to my eyes, and means sooo sooo much...
