I don't make "new years resolutions" Any given day, if I need to or want to do something different, I do.
2. Did you keep your resolutions?
Most of them, yes.
3. What is the biggest/most important lesson you learned over the last year?
Sometimes life is about the ins and outs. (stop it, pervs!) Sometimes people walk into your life, others walk out, and some walk out, only to walk back in. I have learned, the ones that walk in, usually do so at just the right time, no matter how long they stay. The ones that walk out, are making room for the ones that are supposed to be there. And the ones who walk out, only to walk back in, I have learned, if they really want to walk back in, I should greet them with an open mind, an open heart, and open arms.
4. What is one thing that you meant to accomplish but didn't?
I wanted to be a duel card holder in stagecraft. I have my stage card, the second would be in wardrobe. I started the apprenticeship program earlier this year. My plate has been very full this year, I needed to drop the program this go around. I still do the job, I just want the card that says I really do know what I'm doing. All is not lost, the card will eventually be mine.
5. What was the biggest change in your life over the last year?
My mom's health. I have seen her go from a relatively healthy 70yr old, to battling pancreatic cancer that had spread to her lymph nodes. Now she deals with old radiation burns in her stomach that open and bleed, cauterization of the bleeds is needed about every 2 weeks now. And a malignant tumor on her spine, slowly robbing her of everything from sight to leg function, for all intents and purposes, life.
6. Do you like cheese?
Born and raised in Wisconsin. Need I say more? In fact, I'll probably eat cheese at some point tomorrow while watching Wisconsin win the Rosebowl.
7. Did anyone new come into your life over the last year?
Yes, a few. I'm thankful for that.
8. What are you most thankful for over the last year?
A few of the friends that I have. A few here on BFP, and a few here. There to talk, give me a smile, encouragement or, a kick in the ass. What ever I needed, I found it in these friends. I am truly thankful.
9. Will you make any New Year's resolutions this year? If yes, what?
Nope. Haven't even thought about it. I'm sure the day will come. (see first answer)
10. Name one new thing that you plan to do in 2011.
