i confess - that although i've not been a fan of shopping, yesterday's retail therapy session was quite uplifting.. my daughter and i had a girl's day and she reminded me often, that i never splurge for myself, and deserve to and encouraged me numerous times to spoil myself a little.. although i didn't give in most times, i did give in a little and she was right, it felt great..
i also confess, that my 14 year old girl was thinking beyond herself and just wanting to be with me for support & time together, rather than wanting everything in the store like she once did, which was really awesome.. we did some shopping for her too, but it was on the grounds of seeing so much change in her lately, and just enjoying the mother-daughter day too, of course.. ♥ it's really, REALLY nice to have my daughter back again - she's really been outside of herself, but our talks and understanding now have really, really been great, i've been so worried about, scared for and missing her!
