I understand your frustration. I'm grateful I'm not in an area that can get this kind of weather any more.
However, truckers are paid by the load and if they've agreed to take the load, they have to bring it in. They know it's dangerous but it's their livelihood. I have a bit of a soft spot for truckers, as you may guess.

Right? In WA, the worst part was the snow. The snow I liked. The black ice under and sometimes on top of the snow was NOT fun, for certain. BUT...the worst thing was when the stuff melted. If it happend too quickly, it flooded and people who never had a problem with rats and other rodents suddenly did. Like my hotel. A rat got trapped in a vent and died. It took us DAYS to find it. In the meantime, not many people went into the men's bathroom in the lobby.
