here are some of my thoughts:

I did not know they could grow bugs that big
your bugs never die
Me and Fire ants are not friends
in any way shape or form
Fire ants don't die
they do bite
I do get sick
it isn't fun
why don't you all learn to drive in the snow?
seriously
if it makes you feel better
I went to Florida once and didn't like it there either

lol...I loved your description Ami.....

Diva.....
The closest we ever came to TX was to go around it at the very top of the state as we went from west to east...

But WA state.....
Imagine being able to drive through so many parks with gigunda conifers all year round....
To hear the gulls overhead when you are by the waterfront off of Puget Sound....
The scent of rain(which is where my wife would go---"OMG! That's everyday!"
But......The overcast skies....That can get to you if you aren't use to it....

Where we are now....Now, that is the best of both coasts....
A beautiful state park that has such a unique habitat for wildlife...
You can get anywhere you want in the city in just 15 minutes....
The snowfall makes you want to curl up with a good book and tea----
That and learn how to turn your car into a snowmobile....lol
In the spring and summer, there is nothing like watching the trees come back to life with color....
And the general population here are sooooo nice!...I mean genuinely nice...
That was the biggest adjustment we had to make----We weren't expecting it.
And if you like to travel, you are only an 1 hour and a half away from Ohio and upstate NY...
