I meditate. It helps tremendously imho. I also have taken on Buddist beliefs, and that has really helped me with the loss of my sister.
Now, my ocd is still pretty bad. The repetition is the worst. The checking/rechecking, counting, and I do have good news - the handwashing stopped. Just out of the blue. I stopped.

Go figure.
