I don't see flowers as being sweet but rather as being thoughtful. Doing thoughtful things is a sign of strength not weakness.

My BadBoiSadisticWickedthinkingDevilHerselfSyr can bring me flowers (and has!) and keep Her butch card at all times.

Butch is user defined.

I also think confidence is very attractive. Find out who you are, walk that walk and be unapologetic about it and that is what works for me. Being something you are NOT soon fails short and leaves everyone feeling empty.
