the norwalk is a stomache virus that causes nausea, vomitting and the big 'd' .. its no fun especially for these residents being the age they are.. my Nanny isnt in the nursing home yet (she's in the hospital waiting to get in tho, she will be there soon) but, i would be able to visit her lots if she was there cuz i work there..
we have to gown up, masks & gloves is all to prevent catching it as well as passing it around.. the nursing home has been closed since before xmas though so they couldnt have xmas dinner with their families which was sad.. and its been almost 4 weeks now and so they're stir crazy poor souls.. i feel for them and soo hate seeing them get so sickies..

we were supposed to open the nursing home finally today, and then we got 2 more confirmed norwalk viruses in another ward just yesterday, so it will probably remain closed for a bit longer.. bah
