Scoote's son is 16 and mine is 13...and they are very, very different. Not polar opposites (neither is athletic for instance), but off the scale opposites on energy level, approach and the things they like to do. Makes for some interesting times.

I think blending families is incredibly challenging...and anyone who does it deserves a medal.
