I had to go through hoops and get help from my honey to see last night's episode. But, boy, was it worth it! Besides, you can see a lot of the auditions on youtube already.

The girl that wanted to bring Liza Minelli to the masses and infuse pop with broadway was awesome. She's most definitely not anywhere near the best singer but I absolutely loved her awkward and abundant energy. I'm glad they put her through though I doubt she'll make it through Hollywood week.

There's already a sneak peak spoiler list of the Top 40 out there, so if you don't want to learn who is and is not making it, watch where you click!

The last kid and the kid from Jersey who'd been in a wheelchair were really, really good. I liked the singing waitress and the North Carolina girl too. The girl with the stars needs to tone things down, but she was good too.

I was uncertain at first about the choices for judges, though I do like Steven and Jennifer just fine, but now I'm glad. Tyler cracks me the Hell up. "Did you eat a lot of paint chips as a child?" Priceless! I also really like that they are getting more into the contestant's auditions....playing drums on the table and singing back up, etc.
