One more thing that I have found very useful is the overview section. After you have several days/weeks entered you can start to step back and look at the big picture. That way if there is a "less than successful" day or three, you can see that it is not the tragedy you think it is and that overall you are still deserving a pat on the back.

I think this could really help to prevent the "well I crapped out for two days, might as well make it a week" syndrome.
