Default new year traditions

If you could use a little luck in the year of the rabbit , here are a few customs to observe,
1. Sweep for success. Clean youe house from top to bottomto expel the dust and dissapointments of the past year and usher in a bright future. Decorate with plants or flowers , symbolic of rebirth. But remember, All work must be done by midnight. FEB.2nd

2.Dress for the occasion. But new clothes to wear on New Years Day:
They represent new beginnings. Even better, get something red- it's considered a lucky color

3.Add luck to your menu. Have dinner with your family, on new years eve, consuming fortune boosting foods like nain gao (sweet sticky rice cakes), dumplings and a whole fish, symbolic of progress, togetherness and abundance.,
