That's actually what I'm having right now...minus the butter.

Zimmy, that sounds like a really good idea. I think you and your Mom would have a good time going to see your aunt...and a road trip is always a nice time to talk, too.

I'm excited because my best friend Annie is finally coming to see me! I miss her like crazy, and haven't seen her since we moved in August. She's coming down next Saturday, only staying for 3 days, but I'm really looking forward to it. It's nice to know I'll see her in only about 10 days.

I also got the good news that I was selected for the Six Sigma training that my company is doing. It's a big honor, and great for developing my work skills...and also a good sign that they plan on keeping me around for the long haul, too! It means I'll be in AZ for a week in March and again in April...a bit of a hassle, especially for Scoote (who has to hold down the fort while I'm gone) but a very good thing for me professionally.

We have our boy kitten going in to get fixed tomorrow...he is getting too wild and "feeling his oats". The other day he went up the palm tree in the back yard and jumped over to the roof. Scoote had to get up on a ladder to get him down. No sooner was he down then she hears him meowing from what sounds like outside of the yard....turns out he had climbed up the fence (a 6 foot wooden one) and into the branches of the live oak tree in the neighbor's yard. Once he was up there he got scared and couldn't figure out how to get down...so she went and got him from there too. Needless to say, the pet door is blocked until he's fixed...which is really irritating the dog and our older kitty Mabel!

Hope you all have a wonderful day...and, if you haven't been over there yet, make sure you wish our Sylvie a happy birthday in her bday thread! Hope you're enjoying your birthday vacation Sylvie!

Hugs to you all....and smooches for my sweetie...
Good Afternoon everyone!! Got up and had breakfast then dashed to the gym for water aerobics my new thing I do now for exercise in helping lose the weight from winter. Yay we are getting spring like temperatures this week I hope it lasts!! Congratulations Jo on your "training" that you are about to embark on that is good for you professionally. Still no job and no certification yet but all in due time I hope.

Too bad for the dog and the cat can't get outside but it is good for the little one. I guess its time for the clipping to commence!! I personally think it is better to spay and neuter dogs and cats both my dogs are fixed too. its lunch time and I'm starving for my salmon so have a nice day all..waves hi to rlin and scoote and anybody else I missed. I wished sylvie a happy bday on FB and here so I'm good to go....
