I can so relate to this, DamselFly...they are precious gifts, our pets. My 6-month old Bichon-Frise, Pinky, is my heart. She keeps me laughing and smiling all day. They are, however, a big responsibility, and require alot of work. The love part is easy - how can you resist those trusting, loving eyes. You are their lifeline - they depend on you for everything, just like a child. But these children never grow up - I think that's the best part. Good luck with your kiddies - you'll all bond and get closer with each passing day, and you'll wonder how you ever lived without them.
