I've been saying it a fair bit lately about the critter that's been getting in my attic lately and playing with a hickory nut in a corner it's cleared of insulation, just above my desk. I went up to the attic to see what it was - first time I've seen my attic since moving in 5.5 years ago - and could only see eyes reflecting back at me in the darkness. It might be a feral cat, as my daughter insists, but it might not. I do know it's too big to be a rat or squirrel and doubt it's a possum, which suggests coon, cat, or demon. Or I suppose it could be Geoffrey, the laundry gnome who steals socks. Anyhow, creepy!
