Another busy day...
- awake at 6, got out of bed at 7
- went to breakfast with Scoote
- Home Depot - got bunches of plants and cool pots for the yard
- mowed half the backyard...Scoote did the rest
- pruned the over-achiever Bouganveillias
- planted all but 2 of the new plants
- potted some...made a really cute little cluster of lavender, pink kangaroo paw, catnip and a funky pink spikey succulent in lovely pots on the corner of the patio
- laughed at the cats getting high on catnip
- had a bowl of homemade soup for lunch
- ran some errands ...insurance, bank, then back to the grocery store...unbelievable after yesterday's mega BJs run
- put the sprinkler on the newly planted stuff to give it a good soak
- pruned the frangipani tree
- did some laundry
- reinstituted the "everyone cleans for an hour" policy....so we all dusted, vacuumed, mopped, scrubbed bathrooms, cleaned the sliding glass doors, etc. The house looks and smells nice and fresh.
- made dinner for the boys
- munched on yummy nachos Scoote made
- Now it's "feet up and relax" time.
