So how many of you Houstonites are going to join us this Saturday the 9th to go fishing at the 61st pier in Galveston? So far unless something changes,,its Jenny(Dark Crystal) and Mr J and me. Its $12 to fish all day and they have snacks/food/drink there for sale.You can also rent tackle from them.

40-80 Miles in Gulf of Mexico:
Expected Catches:
*Red, Lane & Vermillion Snapper, Grouper, Trigger Fish, Angel Fish, *King Mackerel, *Ling, *Amberjack, *Shark, *Dorado, and Pompano.

Trips Available:
7:30am to 7:30pm Monday-Saturday.

Cost:
Adult: $85.00 (weekends and holidays)
Adult: $75.00 (weekdays)
Child: $50.00 (ages 12 and younger)
(Rod, Reel, Squid bait, and Stringer provided)


RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS AND REFUNDS:
A forty dollar per person deposit is required for reservations made more that one (1) week in advance. A 7 day cancellation notice is required for full deposit refund. Balance accepted with traveler's checks, cash, or credit card. Groups of 10 or more and stern positions may require payment in full. We hate to be too tough, but at the same time we have experienced major no-show problems. All reservations made without deposits must be confirmed the day before the trip by noon to be honored and tickets claimed one (1) hour before sailing. Rail positions are assigned when reservations are taken.
I like to fish the stern if possiable but i have fished the side before and there are benches for you to sit down. As long as Im not at the bow Im good.
